Two very different projects showed us what is universal in children's behaviour and what needs to change from one market to another.
What was universal
In both projects, children quickly sought height, scanned the environment, and mapped the space before fully committing to play. That behaviour showed up regardless of context.
What was different
Family movement patterns, desired sightlines, and the balance between group play and solo discovery changed dramatically between the two markets.
What design teams should learn
Strong attractions respond to both human universals and local behaviour. The magic lives in designing for both at the same time.
